Malaysia - 010 - KL - Halal Hamburgers
I do like checking out various fast-food chains to see what is different. So here in Malaysia, a devout Muslim country, McDonalds serves only Halal meat with "no additives, persevatives and enhancers and are cooked without the addition of fats or oils." Which really sounds a whole lot healthier. I have to wonder if it is? Could a fast-food burger be significantly less bad for you? It tasted the same. Which leads to question 2: if they can make a healthier, more ethical fast-food for cheap in one country, why can't they do it back home? I don't get it.
